The FIRST week of summer camp was a big one! Trey was honored with the title of Camper of the Week, as he was such a good boy all week long. Danny and I were invited to go to the assembly and watch him get called on stage, we were so proud!

As I sat in front of him I could NOT get him to look at me for anything! He was so nervous that all he kept doing was sticking his tongue out and looking down to the ground. It was hilarious to watch him feel so uncomfortable and see his nervous ticks that I've never noticed as much.

He's such a good boy! :)

So long to the crib! Reese has moved to a bigger and more comfy domain! She was so excited when we set it up and couldn't wait to fall asleep in it. I was a little sad as I packed up her crib and moved it to the garage until...she slept in till 8:15 this morning! Mommy's a happy camper.

We were so happy to get to come back to Bakersfield for Christmas this year. We have had so much fun staying with Gram and Poppy and Aubs, and getting to spend lots of time with Josh and Hailey and all of our cousins! The kids have been on vacation from everything out here- naptimes, bedtimes, any strict limitation on sweets (they've eaten it all), anything in sight for dinner is what they get (which has mainly been the closest fast food place), and it's been so fun. Quite the break for myself also. :) Aunt Aubree is on Winter Break from school so she has been such a great help with the kids and they love spending time with her also. Here are a few random pictures of our vacation!

The day after Christmas Danny and Trey were able to tag along with our cousin Matt and his 3 darling boys for a day of playing in the snow in the mountains and then on to the desert to shoot at "rabbits". I don't think they spotted a single breathing thing...but they had a great time and the little guys felt like they were real men out there in the wilderness!! Matt, thanks for takin' my boys out and Amy, thanks for cleanin' up their survivalist tools! :)

So after almost a year of frustration and confusion with our mac I decided to plug back in the old PC and give up!! Thank goodness! The only reason I even used our computer was to upload pictures to shutterfly and our blog and I wasn't able to do either! The O'Malley children are back up on the web and Gram and Poppy are now able to check in on their little rascals whenever they need their fix!

Today, we received the best news in the world. Our baby girl is as healthy as can be! After a bit of a health scare that sent me into a frenzy, all of the test came out normal! I couldn't be happier.

We didn't have much planned for the evening. The weather was bad and because of bedtimes (and crankiness) there was no walking around with the trick-or-treaters, though Trey had a great time seeing all the kids come to the house in their costumes. I think next year will be his big year to score as much candy as he can... for Mom and Dad!

At almost six months Reese is definitely starting to show a bit more of her personality. She's not quite as content taking a backseat to her brother. She still is entertained by him but demands more of the spotlight herself . I think she's going to be a little fire cracker too and between the two of them I'm sure Danny and I will be a total audience to our 2 little outgoing munchkins!!

Trey's idea of a perfect afternoon: Sugary snacks in his highchair set right in front of the tube with a little Elmo or Veggie tales on. That is one happy boy!

Give this kid any sort of beat and he's a dancin' fool! I'm pretty sure he was listening to some of his Daddy's ghetto rap music...Too Short, Easy E, Tupac, Trey's jammed to it all.

She is such a good, happy baby!

I love the mornings right after Danny goes to work, Trey likes to sit and snuggle on my right and Reese sits on my lap to the left. I feel sooo blessed!

Whenever I try to change Trey's diaper he is off to the races. It's getting harder and harder to catch this little booger! Here he is pulling out all the stops and hiding under the table... so sneaky! "No Mom! Anything but a clean diaper!!".

They are really starting to notice a lot more of each other. Reese has constantly got an eye on her big brother, curious what he's into. She's always smiling and laughing at him. It is adorable to watch the two of them interact. The top of her head always is shiny from Trey's big wet kisses, he is so sweet to her!

What a treat! We had the pleasure of having Aubree and Ryan stay with us for two weeks and we enjoyed every second of it! I'm hoping to talk them in to coming and staying with us again during their Christmas break. They were great helpers and a joy to talk with and be around. Such good girls! Aubs and Ryan, the office futon (with those super comfy sheets and comfy mattress topper) is here and waiting for you anytime!!! Miss you guys. Here's a couple of pictures from their visit.

Reese's first job! Her first $300!! (What a rip off!) She definitely worked hard for her money as we had to travel to and from Philadelphia in the same day! Never again! She hardly got any sleep and was so rudely awakened from her cat naps at the shoot. What a trooper. She was so patient considering the long, tiring day. I was so proud of her. I think at the end of it all, I was fussier and crankier than she was. I'm going retire this little one from the work force until she's ready to do lemonade stands in the front yard.

When we are at the grocery store he makes a spectacle out of himself. He takes his shoes off so he can steer both steering wheels with his toes and he is ever so friendly to all the passers by. He is quite the social butterfly when we are out and about.

Some nights, for an extra special treat Trey gets to stay up really late and watch cartoons in Mom and Dad's bed. He gets really tired and into whatever we're watching and I get to snuggle with him. It's the only time he sits still so I take advantage!

Trey loves to be a helper. Whenever he sees her bottles he runs to grab them and tries to feed her. If there's a blankie around, he always covers her legs and sometimes when she's fussy he'll try and give her his pacifier. He's even gotten into her Baby Einstein videos that he used to love when he was her age. The picture on the top is them watching together.

As soon as we wake up Trey is rearin' and ready to go. He lives to be outside! Even a trip through the Starbucks drive-thru is an exciting outting. As soon as he hears car keys jingle he's already waving bye bye and tearing off towards the door. Our backyard has become his stomping ground to run around, scream as loud as he wants, kick and throw balls, play in the dirt and his new favorite...look for lizards and bugs. Such a boy!
