This book is a great resource, however, it is only effective once you know how to tackle the questions. When I purchased this book I was unaware of how to go about studying for the LSAT and I figured the best course of action was to expose myself to the actual test. Within a few days of using the book I realized that unless you know how to solve the problems presented, you're just spinning your wheels. I ended up buying the Powerscore LSAT Logic Games Bible which really helped me to understand the questions and how to solve them. Only then did this book become effective. Overall, I don't feel that anyone studying for the LSAT should buy this book alone and feel that they will be prepared for the exam.

As expected. This is 10 official tests, back to back. There are no answer explanations, only an answer key, but that was expected based on the product description. Does its job. I think the absolute best way to prep for the test is simply by taking older tests. This is not an information based test, it is a test of skills - and the only way to improve a skill is through practice! I scored a 154 my first time taking the LSAT, and I am currently studying for the next one where I will hopefully do better. Still plugging away at these older tests.

It's exactly what you should expect from the product - 10 LSAT examinations from previous years. It gives you a lot of insight into how the actual tests are run, rather than just taking random questions that may have never appeared on an LSAT before. You start to see some patterns they use in the layout of each section, and it's a pretty valuable tool for making sure you have the pace of the test down.It also comes with the answer sheets and everything, so it's a complete package of everything you'll need to run practice tests before taking the actual test.That being said, I do recommend getting other material or using online resources in addition to this. Just taking a practice test isn't going to be immensely helpful beyond the pacing, and it can actually misinterpret the difficulty depending on which tests you do. This only comes with four sections per test (no fifth/experimental section) and so for things like Logic Games you're not getting a lot of variety. Knowing all of the possibilities from a dedicated Logic Games book will make it much easier to adapt on test day, rather than getting caught off guard by a new type of puzzle.

I found the best way to prep was by doing questions from actual tests (rather than questions made up by prep companies), and sitting down and running timed full tests. I bought a couple these volumes (each volume has 10 full tests) to do that - check the number of the tests to see which years they are from and do several, but definitely the most recent.

I would not even recommend taking the LSAT until you've looked at these books (the entire series). It served as a GREAT tool. I used it alternatively as diagnostics and as practice. Surprisingly lightweight by the way, I used this on the train on my way to work to give myself a little review and during lunch.

Fantastic set of tests. They come with the tests, answer key, scoring key, and test answering sheets in the back. I would highly recommend this book if you are looking to take the LSAT since these tests are very recent. That means if you are on a tight budget you should always try to get the test books that contain the most recent tests. Overall a great product that can help you succeed on the LSAT!

Item exactly as advertised. Taking actual practice exams (under simulated testing conditions!) is an integral part of doing well on the LSAT.Tip: Since the actual exam has 5 multiple choice sections (4 graded, 1 ungraded) but these released practice tests only contain the 4 graded sections, use the sections of one or two of the tests to simulate the extra ungraded section. While this means you will only be able to take 8 full-length practice tests under simulated conditions, it's very important to be prepared for what the test day is actually like. Plus, you will still be "taking" those two other tests, just not all at once.

Useful, however I was disappointed to see that each logic game was fitted to one page, leaving no room to actual work out the problem- on the actual LSAT, we are given 2 pages per game. In addition, I would have liked to see 5 sections per preptests so that I could better practice. I remember taking the exam and being under prepared for the 5 section exam. It was exhausting.
