This is a collection of essays written from the point of view of a variety of Unitarian Universalists. Each essay addresses an individual view, and can be read in any order. This book offers an excellent introduction for people who want to know more about the Unitarian Universalist Church, or for those looking for a liberal spiritual home that welcomes all beliefs and all people.

This little volume helps see the forward movement of the UU church and helps one move forward in one's owm thinking. If it is a truism that emotions are preceeded by thought so is faith and so is love of one's fellow humans. History, inspiration and resource combine for an excellent step forward in faith and thought even if one has on intention of becoming an official UU.

This book is a quick read containing a number of short articles. It is well suited to reading in spare moments on a tablet since it is easy to finish an article and not feel interrupted when I is time to do something else. Along the way one finds an assortment of history, background, and personal reflections about this complex and yet simple religion.

This is a very good summary of what Unitarian Universalim is all about. It talks about the seven principles. It talks about Unitarianism and Universalism separately. They were separate religions before they joined. This book is very informative.

I was really hoping it would have more information and be a little more in depth than what it is. A very short read with a couple of wonderful stiries but lacking on the basic facts and information about the history or Unitarian Universalism.

Awesome little book! A good summary of what Unitarian Universalism is all about in a slim volume. I recommend it to anyone who's interested in learning more, or any current UUs looking for good reminders about our faith.

I found this to be a VERY introductory level book on UU faith and practice. It has made me curious for more.

The history and purpose of the UU congregations was easy to follow and gave me a better understanding of the congregation.
